RHINEBECK - A day before the rest of the nation honored veterans, students at Bulkeley Middle School held their annual Veterans Day dedication service with the help of Rhinebeck Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9255.

On Tuesday, the Hyde Park Town Board held a second public hearing to discuss the preliminary town budget for 2009.

RED HOOK - Selma Hardeman, a 91-year-old resident of the town, was struck by a car and killed on Nov. 8 while crossing Route 199 to get her mail.
